周树堂课题组在Greglin保护卵黄原蛋白和促进昆虫生殖研究中取得新进展
通过对飞蝗基因组和转录组分析,本课题组发现了一个在雌性飞蝗成虫中高表达的基因,命名为Greglin。Greglin属于Kazal类型的丝氨酸蛋白酶抑制剂,即含有一个保守的Kazal结构域和六个半胱氨酸残基。本课题组首次发现,Greglin在雌性飞蝗中特异表达,在脂肪体和卵巢中高表达,在卵黄发生期的表达量仅次于两个卵黄原蛋白基因(VgA和VgB)。有趣的是,保幼激素诱导Greglin的表达。敲低Greglin导致卵黄原蛋白大量减少,并显著影响卵发...
